PERF4M Pre Workout Review
Read Nexus Sports Nutrition – Per4m Pre Workout Review.
Today we’re looking at the flagship pre workout from one of the fastest growing supplement brands created right here in Australia in sunny Queensland! In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last couple years, Nexus Sports Nutrition is everywhere! But what makes Per4m so popular? Let’s take a look behind the pre workout everyone loves. nexus sport nutrition per4m pre workout review.
KEY POINTS:
- 400MG CAFFEINE PER 2 SCOOP SERVE
- HIGH-QUALITY & FULLY DOSED INGREDIENTS
- MASSIVE FOCUS BOOSTING INGREDIENTS
- NOW AVAILABLE IN 50 SCOOPS PER TUB
- ONE OF THE FASTED GROWING BRANDS
- AUSTRALIAN MADE + OWNED
FORMULA AND DOSAGE
There is a massive 17 active ingredients that make up the PER4M pre workout. Being a 50/25 serve tub will depend if you like your pre workouts mild or a strong hit of energy!
If you decide to stick with the one scoop serve (50 Serves) then you’ll find that most of the ingredients that provide performance, pump and endurance are still efficaciously dosed. Which is usually hard to find. Most 30+ serve pre’s require the 2 scoop serving size to get the proper dosages. The only thing that one scoop lacks is a massive hit of energy, which may be okay or desirable for those who are caffeine sensitive or train late at night. In saying that, 200mg of caffeine is still enough to feel for most users.
Now if you decide to double scoop it then everything is extremely high dosed leading to one hell of a workout! With a huge 400mg kick of caffeine! But the enery doesn’t stop there with other stimulant ingredients to give this pre workout a HUGE burst of energy. No wonder it’s called PER4M…

This has been a slid stapple for a while now. We’ve used this as a single scoop, single scoop with pump added and of course the full 2 scoop serve. So it’s safe to say we’ve used this pre workout every way possible to get the best idea of it’s feeling & effects for all body parts.
Each time we used the 2 scoop serve and we agree that the energy and focus are the two main highlights. From the first rep to the last, the complete tunnel vision experience was second to none with plenty of energy left after the workouts are finished. Thankfully never had any comedown/crash side effect which is a welcomed bonus.
SIDE EFFECTS
With the stimulant dosage so high, you may experience the ‘jittery’ feeling throughout your training and possibly a slight-to-mid level crash post workout. Again, this is dependent on your caffeine tolerance. All of us here who have used PER4M felt absolutely none of these effects but it is not uncommon for inexperienced pre workout users and that is why the 1 scoop serve is recommended to begin with.
FLAVOURS
PER4M is currently available in 12 flavours at the time of this review. We’ve tried most of the flavours whether it be from a full tub or samples that Nexus has graciously sent us. The bar of taste in pre workouts in Australia has steadily increased over the years, so it’s hard to compete but the team at Nexus is definitely up there with being the best of the best. Our top 3 flavour choices would have to be: Red Sour Straps, Citrus Bomb, Phantom Drop.
With that being said, flavouring is very person by person. Only you can decide. nexus sport nutrition per4m pre workout review.
WHEN/HOW TO TAKE
We recommend taking 1-2 scoops of PER4M pre workout 15-20min prior to training. Otherwise just 1 scoop to asses tolerance for beginners or those who are easily effected by caffeine & stimulants.
Unless you have a SUPER HIGH tolerance to stimulant pre workouts we recommend avoid taking 4-6 hours before bedtime.
If you are like us, you can mix in some Nexus AMP3D pre workout to really up the pump and even more focus! AMP3D doesn’t come in as many flavours as PER4M does but enough to match your favourite flavours together.
Score 20% off when you buy them together HERE.
RATING
If you are a hardcore stim-junkie or just have a high tolerance to caffeine then we think you’ll really enjoy this one at the full 2 scoops. Whereas the one scoop serving size is perfect for beginners, late night workouts and those who want an overall better workout. All in all, we give Nexus Sports Nutrition PER4M Pre Workout the following score: nexus sport nutrition per4m pre workout review.
